Disruptor is a brand new improv comedy show based on true stories. There are no scripts and nothing is pre-planned. Just an ensemble of some of Charleston’s best improvisers getting a little disruptive in the comedy world. Andrew Rudick is a nationally touring stand up comedian, writer and actor.  One of the fastest rising comedians in the Midwest, Rudick has been featured on “The Bob and Tom” national radio show and his comedy can be heard regularly on SiriusXM.  His debut comedy album opened at the top of the Apple Music charts.

Combining a midwestern charm and high-energy absurdism, Rudick’s stand-up is a frequent hit both on stage and across social media. His videos have amassed tens of millions of views and garnered him over 100,000 followers across social media platforms. Rudick’s relatable energy earned him an appearance on HGTV’s “Design Fails.”

He has shared the stage with some of the best comics in the world including Mark Normand, Chad Daniels, Sam Tallent, Preacher Lawson and his big sister Leah Rudick, to name a few.

He also loves Fleetwood Mac and doesn’t care who knows it.

The Black Power Rangers are a group of sharp, insightful, Black comedians from the South. Their revolving and growing lineup has been making audiences laugh since 2022. They embark on their third tour this fall. Come laugh as they effortlessly weave social commentary with pop culture for a uniquely hilarious show. Featuring stand-up from Wills Maxwell Jr. (Wilmington, NC), Jordan Centry (Charlotte, NC), and Brandi Augustus (Knoxville, TN). This is a show you can't miss.


Wills Maxwell Jr.
Wills Maxwell, Jr. started doing stand-up comedy when he was in 4th grade. His teacher didn’t appreciate him interrupting the class and his parents didn’t appreciate him getting in trouble. Due to the lack of appreciation, Wills retired from the business and started doing stand-up comedy again after he left high school. Since resuming his comedy career, Wills has won Port City’s Top Comic (Wilmington, NC), was a regional finalist in StandUp NBC, and a finalist at Ultimate Comic Challenge (Greensboro, NC). He also wrote and performed his on-air comedy news segment “What Did We Miss?” on Wilmington TV station WWAY News every Thursday morning for 5 years, totaling over 180 episodes. Wills has performed at the Cola Comedy Convention, the North Carolina Comedy Festival, the Oak City Comedy Festival and the Cape Fear Comedy Festival. Wills hosted Wilmington’s late-night talk show “Late Fear with Wills Maxwell” for three years. He has also opened for several comedians including Roy Wood Jr., Tim Meadows, and Jim Gaffigan.

Jordan Centry
Jordan Centry has always had a love for comedy. From growing up in Stoneville, NC, to obtaining a master’s degree from UNC, Jordan has a knack for approaching everyday observations and experiences with intelligence, silliness, and a touch of southern that audiences find hilarious and charming. Jordan first began standup in Winston-Salem, NC, before becoming a fan favorite in Charlotte, performing in shows and festivals across the southeast. Jordan has opened for comedians such as George Willborn, Clint Coley, and Samuel J. Comroe.

Brandi Augustus
Brandi Augustus is a comedian and storyteller based in East TN. She shares her radically honest truths in a hilariously relatable way. Brandi has opened for Amber Autry, Katherine Blandford, Shelly Belly and Sam Tallent. During Brandi's second year of performing at the Second Bell festival she opened for Big Boi of Outkast. She has recently made it to the finals of the Blue Ridge Comedy Festival and will be performing in the West End Comedy Festival.
(She has also accidentally kidnapped M-1 of the legendary hip-hop group Dead Prez but she doesn't talk about that too often...)

Kylie Vincent is a 24 year old stand-up and solo artist that tours all around the world with her five star rated shows, with reviewers calling her work, “Dark, edgy, and hilarious.” Kylie’s highly anticipated breakthrough set on Comedy Central has been viewed over 90k times and has opened on the road for Chris Gethard and Hannah Berner. Her solo show Bird, a coming of age Gen Z crisis, is also streaming online with critics saying, “Kylie Vincent is someone to watch.” Kylie tours with her disabled dog and wants you to know that she was already broken when she got her.

TJ is a Haitian born stand-up comedian who is currently based in New York City. TJ has a very laid back, smooth, and conversational style. He jokes about race, society’s idiosyncrasies, and the inherent contrast between life in Haiti and America. He has made appearances on Gotham Comedy Live (AXS TV) and Good Day New York (FOX). TJ is a paid regular at the Comedy Cellar and Gotham Comedy Club in NYC. He has performed all over the world. He recently returned from a small European tour where he performed in English and French.

He has opened for Colin Quinn, Janelle James, Maria Bamford and Sean Patton. He has also been a featured performer at numerous festivals like Netflix Is A Joke Festival, SF Sketchfest and the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival.

Originally from New Jersey, Anthony DeVito is a NYC based comedian. He's appeared on CBS The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Comedy Central Stand Up Presents: Anthony DeVito, Comedy Central's Adam Devine's House Party, was one of the “New Faces” at the 2012 Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, taped a “Don’t Tell Comedy” special and has been on "This American Life," AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, and in 2022 independently released his latest special Brain Noise. He also released two albums Dream Occupation and Brain Noise. In addition to stand-up, he was a writer on Netflix's The Break with Michelle Wolf, wrote for the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner, and was a writer/regular panelist on MSG's People Talking Sports and Other Stuff. He also has appeared on TV Land's The Jim Gaffigan Show and HBO's Pause with Sam Jay.

Peter Revello is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer, based in New York City. Born and raised in Staten Island, Peter developed his comedic sensibilities by being a part of, yet separate from, the big city. Peter’s act revolves around his marriage, observations about life, and tackles every subject with a nuanced working class sensibility.

Before headlining himself, Peter has featured for a long list of comedians including, Rachel Feinstein, Rich Vos, Greg Warren, and Anthony Devito. Peter now tours across the country and has been seen at The Dead Crow Comedy Club, Empire Comedy Club, The Denver Comedy Underground, Boston Comedy Club, and The Ruby Red Room.

Peter is a regular at New York Comedy Club, has starred in a number of sketches for Comedy Central, recorded his debut album “Specialette” in October, and has a rapidly growing following on TikTok (98k+) and Instagram (38k+). Wow!

Sam Tallent ("the absurd voice of a surreal generation" - The Denver Post) is a comedian, novelist and host of the Chubby Behemoth Podcast. 

For the last decade, he has performed more than 45 weekends per year in North America, Asia, Australia and Europe. His writing has appeared in VICE and ​Birdy Magazine and he's told jokes on Comedy Central, TruTV and VICELAND. 

His acclaimed debut novel, ​Running the Light​, heralded as the definitive book on standup comedy, is soon to be a major motion picture (Dough Stanhope: "the best fictional representation of comedy in any medium ever," Marc Maron: "a beautiful rendering of a dark reality"). His novella, ​ATTABOY​, was published as an Audible Original.

Sam has two comedy specials. Waiting for Death to Claim Us, his debut, is available on Amazon Prime. His sophomore effort, The Toad's Morale, lives on YouTube where it is close to one million views. ​Mia Jackson, a native of Columbus, GA started her stand up career in Atlanta. Now living in New York, Mia performs regularly at The Comedy Cellar when not on the road. In 2022, she was one of the openers for Amy Schumer’s tour. 

She has written for Life & Beth (Hulu) and I Love Us (BET+). Her first original comedy pilot, Aim Higher, sold to Warner Brothers in 2021. A true multi-hyphenate, Mia’s delightful Georgia accent landed her a voiceover role as the narrator for My Celebrity Dream Wedding (VH1). Her second half hour special premiered on Comedy Central in Nov 2019 and her stand up has been featured on This Week at The Comedy Cellar (Comedy Central). Mia is smart, funny, relatable and versatile. Rob Christensen is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor born and raised in Brooklyn, NY - when it was still dangerous. Rob had one of the best sets of his life taping THIS IS NOT HAPPENING for Comedy Central and one of the best weekends of his life taping ADAM DEVINE’S HOUSE PARTY for Comedy Central. He had one of the worst sets of his life taping LAST COMIC STANDING for NBC where Roseanne Barr told him, “I didn’t like you from the moment I saw you.”

Most recently, Rob was a staff writer on THE PROBLEM WITH JON STEWART for Apple TV+ where he was nominated for a Writers Guild Award 4 times.

Katherine Blanford has brought her human Golden Retriever presence across the country and internationally, sharing confessions of her southern family secrets and awkward adolescent years.

The Kentucky born comedian has appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, a panelist on Vice TV’s Super Maximum Retro Show, and was featured on Netflix Radio.

Her debut album, Salt Daddy, was released in June 2022 reaching number one on iTunes Charts and her Don’t Tell Comedy set has amassed millions of views online.

You can catch her weekly co-hosting her podcast, Cheaties, with fellow comedian, Lace Larrabee. The juicy series follows two comedians healing through laughter after sharing stories of infidelity.

He is a regular at The Comedy Cellar, The Stand Comedy Club and Stand Up New York.
